Pashu Awam Gau Sanrakshan Samiti is dedicated to the protection, care, and preservation of cows and all animals. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and nurture abandoned, injured, or mistreated animals, especially Gau Mata, through compassionate care, traditional values, and modern veterinary support. We strive to promote Gau Seva (cow service) as a sacred duty, raise awareness on animal welfare, and foster a sense of responsibility in society toward voiceless beings.
Our VisionWe envision a compassionate and conscious society where all animals—especially cows—are protected, respected, and allowed to live with dignity. Our long-term goal is to establish a network of shelters (gaushalas), awareness programs, and sustainable cow-based rural development, inspiring generations to reconnect with nature and uphold Sanatan values of Ahimsa (non-violence), Dharma, and Seva.
Pashu Awam Gau Sanrakshan Samiti is
A registered charitable trustThe Bharteeya Pashu Evam Gau Sanrakshan Samiti was founded with a simple but powerful vision — to protect, care for, and uplift the lives of helpless animals, especially our revered Gau Mata (mother cow), who is central to Indian culture, agriculture, and spirituality.
It all began in the year 2021, when a group of devoted individuals — saints, social workers, farmers, and local villagers — came together in [Insert City/Village Name], witnessing the rising number of abandoned, injured, and starving cows wandering the streets. Moved by their suffering and the lack of proper shelter, this group decided to act, not just emotionally but institutionally.
With limited resources but unlimited devotion, a small Gaushala (cow shelter) was established on donated land. Just a handful of volunteers started with the care of a few cows, providing them food, clean shelter, and medical treatment. What began as a modest initiative quickly became a beacon of hope and seva in the region.
To formalize the mission, the group registered as a non-profit organization under the name Bharteeya Pashu Evam Gau Sanrakshan Samiti, with the goal of expanding their work beyond cow protection — to include all forms of animal welfare, rescue operations, awareness programs, and legal advocacy.
The Samiti's constitution was guided by Indian traditional values, Gandhian philosophy, and the teachings of saints who emphasized Ahimsa (non-violence) and Seva (service) as the highest virtues.
Over time, the Samiti expanded its reach:
* Built and maintained multiple Gaushalas with improved facilities.
* Rescued and treated hundreds of injured or abandoned animals.
* Conducted free veterinary camps in villages and rural belts.
* Started awareness drives in schools, colleges, and local communities.
* Worked with law enforcement to prevent cruelty and illegal transport of cattle.
* Initiated adoption and sponsorship programs for cows and animals.
The organization has grown not just in scale, but in public trust, spiritual connection, and community involvement.
he Samiti draws spiritual motivation from our scriptures that describe the cow as Kamadhenu — the provider of all — and from great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and present-day saints and national figures like PM Narendra Modi ji and CM Yogi Adityanath ji, who’ve spoken of cow protection as a sacred and national duty.
Today, Bharteeya Pashu Evam Gau Sanrakshan Samiti is not just an NGO — it is a people’s movement. A collective effort by villagers, donors, farmers, volunteers, students, and animal lovers who believe that serving animals is the highest form of service to the divine.
“Gau Seva is not just about protecting animals — it’s about protecting our values, our soil, and our soul.”
